Nowadays, in the IT field, we often see people talk about the lack of workforce, the lack of skills and experience, and the uncertainty about how long the current technology will last and survive. Having worked for large IT companies for many years, I have some bitter memories of helplessly putting off difficult-to-solve problems until the future.
Considerable part of it products and solutions are often delivered from overseas. The problem is inherently that prices and costs are heavily influence by the exchange rates. then the costs have become a major issue in the recent environment of severe yen depreciation. There is also a problem with the contracting structure of the business: large IT-related projects are multi-tiered contracts, with subcontractors and sub-subcontractors like large construction companies, which leads to rigidity and high costs. If no changes are made now, the business value that IT is currently providing will no longer be sustainable due to high costs and a lack of personnel. Even more so, it can be said that achieving development is a pipe dream.
We are a collection of members with skills and experience, especially in specific industries, and we aim to help our customers make their systems sustainable, while at the same time demonstrating leadership as technology leaders. We will continue to move forward in the 21st century. Right now, we need to take action now. Take time by the forelock.
